Martin Pring founded Pring Research in 1981 and began providing research for financial institutions and individual investors around the world. Since 1984, he has published the "Intermarket Review", a monthly market letter offering a long-term synopsis of the world's major financial markets. He is also chairman of Pring Turner Capital Group, a money management firm, and president of pring.com, an educational technically oriented web site.
Mr. Pring has also authored several outstanding books including the classic
Technical Analysis Explained, now in its fourth edition and eighth language. He was awarded the A.J. Frost Memorial Award by the Canadian Technical Analysts Society in 2000. In 2004, Mr. Pring was honored with the Market Technician's Association (MTA) Annual Award. In 2007 he received the Trader's Library Hall of Fame award.
