SIMPLICITY VERSUS RELIGIOUS PRIDES

SIMPLICITY VERSUS RELIGIOUS PRIDES

Simplicity, natural in humility, is always preferable to a Christian pomp, associated with pride. Therefore, when we pray, we should not ask for forgiveness with repetitive or meaningless words, as taught by the half crazed nuns in consumer television soaps, but we should speak in our awareness.
Simplicity is the self-control of pain and knowledge in the simplicity of the truth.
Because you speak with your conscience and with the God of the believers, and it is a freedom of conscience – the principle of the Western democratic freedoms as we understand now – neither atheist fundamentalists nor "Christian" or other religious fundamentalists will be able to kill or even kill us, as has often happened throughout history.
Neither religious leaders who manoeuvre like diplomats or managers between purely material interests, will be able to kill us, with our freedom in Christ, even though they try.
Let us not become obsessed with attendance numbers, or with the "affiliation" or "membership".
Christ spoke of the "little flock" and that, "broad is the road that leads to destruction, and narrow the one that leads to salvation.
"We should concern ourselves with the faith in his purity, love, sincerity...Calling yourself "evangelical" does not necessarily mean you obey the Gospel any more.
Sometimes growing in number is only fattening.
The wage-earning clergymen are only interested in the numbers because they live on numbers.
In the Word we read, "and God will add....".
God will do it, not the marketing of the "church-growth" like certain salaried leaders.
