========== The Laptop Millionaire Thought of the Day ========== What happens after you die? Where do we come from? Why are we here? Since a young age I've been interested in such questions. I read Raymond Moody's book of true stories 'Life After Life' when I was six years old. I could not understand why none of the adults around me or on TV were asking themselves the same questions. Perhaps they were too busy being part of the rat race, to notice that their lives lacked meaning. It has always baffled me how mass media steer us away from asking these essential questions. Today I want to share with you three 'life after life' stories. The Story of Veronique Veronique B. was an architect, in her fifties. She came to my seminar in London last November. She had traveled all the way from France. The event was taking place just off of High Street Kensington, and during one of the breaks she shared with me that in 1997 she had had an accident on that specific street. She was crossing the street, in front of the Whole Foods Market building, when a large speeding motorcycle ran her down. She remembers looking down and seeing the paramedics put a white sheet over her body, and pronouncing her dead. "I felt myself float upwards. I could still make out the contours of my hands. As I floated higher than the five-story Victorian building, I remember thinking to myself 'the architecture is very interesting...' As I kept floating higher, I could no longer make out my body. I was just light. Soon, I was surrounded by beings of light. They told me that my time had not come yet, and that they would store information in my mind and give me certain abilities that would be unlocked at the appropriate time. I was then sent back down what I can only describe as a tube of light, and I awoke back in my body, in the ambulance. The paramedics could not believe it. They called it a miracle." Veronique has since developed interesting healing abilities. The Story of Louis My neighbour Louis, also in his fifties, told me that when he was 7 years old and living in London, he contracted a disease and was rushed to hospital. At one point his heart stopped, and the nurses and doctors on staff tried desperately to revive him. He told me this story over a glass of homemade lemonade on his patio last summer. "I was floating above the whole scene, in the corner of the ceiling. I then kept floating upwards. I remember hearing one of the beings say, in an annoyed manner, 'No, no, no. It's not his time yet! Send him back!" The next thing I knew I was back in my body. Since that experience, I am no longer afraid of death." The Story of Stewart The third story I want to share with you is from one of my mentors, from the US. Here is a passage from one of his books: "I felt myself glide upward in a funnel of light where I was soon met by beautiful angelic beings who gently took my hands. The rest is all a blur. There was a review of my life, a glimpse of my past lives, a period of mourning for all the wrong that I had done, and a happy feeling for all of the good that I had accomplished. Then I was told I had to complete something on Earth. I was shown a woman in labor in a brand new hospital. The next thing I knew, I was inside a tube of light heading toward her." Would you seek out to make a difference rather than just work in a job to make ends meet? ========== Stats Of The Day ==========Near Death Experience Statistical Report 67.7% report an out-of-body experience, and almost as many see a light.
Almost 50% report seeing unearthly beings. 21.6% report a experiencing a life review. More than 50% report strong emotional tone and receiving knowledge. The development of healing and psychic abilities is significantly higher among women, 71.4%, compared to men, 60.7%.
