Explore The Night Sky With Your Own Planetarium Posted: 05 Jan 2013 04:00 AM PST If the idea of exploring the night sky appeals to you, but you don't have a super-powerful telescope to hand, then you could do worse than check out a great program called Stellarium. The program is a simulation of the night sky which works in a similar way to Google Earth. Use your mouse to pan, rotate and zoom the image, to focus on stars and constellations. As you do, the name of the star is shown. It's free and it's open source. http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/explore-night-sky-your-own-planetariu... |
