DOES GOD CALL SINNERS TO REPENTANCE OR NOT?
WE ARE LIVING IN A TIME WHEN MANY LIBERAL PREACHERS OF THE NEO LUKEWARM APOSTATE CHRISTIANITY OF OUR TIME, AS WELL AS MANY PROFESSING CHRISTIANS, DO NOT PREACH, AND THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THAT REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY FOR SALVATION!
Is Repentance Necessary for Salvation?

Jesus Christ said, "….The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mk 1:15). Obviously if Jesus says we must repent and believe, then repentance has to be part of turning to God. John the Baptist said repentance prepares straight paths for the Lord, "…Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand….. Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight." (Mt 3:2-3). Peter preached repentance on the day of Pentecost, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19).
And finally, the Apostle Paul who condemned works for salvation also taught repentance, "Or……not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God" (Ro 2:4-5).
Therefore, repentance cannot be the adding of works to faith for salvation.
