I read 1 Peter 5:6 today

I read 1 Peter 5:6 today and I just had to share with you what God spoke to me through it. It states: "So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time, He will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you."

Being lifted up is living in the F.O.G.—the Favor of God. In order to do that, you and I must give all of our cares and worries today to God. We must trust Him to care for us. In other words, the worries and cares are no longer ours. We have cast those on Him. To achieve that, we must humble ourselves because it takes humility to acknowledge that through the blood of Jesus, He can bear our cares.
