Cornelius is an evangelist who lives in a Muslim majority area in Pakistan. He spreads the gospel by distributing Bibles, Christian literature, and sharing his faith in hostile places. He is often threatened and attacked by radical Muslim clerics who try to stop him from evangelizing.
Despite the threats, Cornelius marches on.
This spring, however, assailants stole his Bibles and Christian literature. They threatened Cornelius with severe consequences if he did not stop telling others about Jesus and took his motorcycle so he could not travel.
The police did not care and sent him on his way, saying it was not a crime against his faith.
At International Christian Concern (ICC), we came alongside Cornelius—and so many others like him in countries hostile to Christianity—and replaced his motorcycle and Christian materials. Cornelius is determined to build the church, and so are we. Jesus said, "… the gates of Hades will not overcome it (Matthew 16:18)."
